A Stanley Cup, six NHL teams and plenty of stories along the way. The Zebras welcome longtime NHL defenseman Mike Lalor for a conversation packed with hockey legends, championship memories and a memorable fight with Steve Yzerman.
Mike’s 12-year NHL career included stops with the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Washington Capitals, Winnipeg Jets, San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars. He won the Calder Cup with the AHL’s Sherbrooke Canadiens in 1985, then lifted the Stanley Cup with Montreal just one year later.
Born in the United States and raised in Fort Erie, Ontario, Mike also represented Team USA at the 1996 Men’s World Ice Hockey Championships. He joins the boys to talk about the legendary players he shared the ice with and offer an inside look at life in professional hockey.
Mike’s a complete beauty with no shortage of stories. Grab a cold beverage of your choice and settle in for some serious NHL talk, with plenty of chirping along the way.
