Strap yourselves in for Episode 120! The boys are joined by former NHL player and Boston native Pat Leahy, who lived out every local hockey kid’s dream when he suited up for his hometown team, the Boston Bruins.
Pat was a standout at BC High—the same school Geno played for—before continuing his hockey career at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Drafted by the New York Rangers in the fifth round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Pat played four seasons of college hockey before turning pro in 2001.
After his time in the NHL, Pat took his career overseas, signing with the EHC Black Wings Linz of the Austrian Hockey League in 2007. He spent his final seven seasons with the team, helped the Black Wings capture a championship in 2012 and retired following the 2013–14 season.
Pat joins Mark and Geno to share stories from his journey—from growing up in Boston and playing college hockey to reaching the NHL and finishing his career as a champion in Austria.
