Jon Lounsbury, owner of Eleven Hockey, joins Chirping Zebras for a conversation about player development, coaching, and the game at every level. With more than two decades of experience as a player, coach, and mentor, Jon helps players from youth hockey to the NHL sharpen their skills through on-ice training, video coaching, and mentorship.
Jon shares insights from working with NHL players including Jack Eichel, Trent Frederic, and Pat Maroon, along with his experiences coaching his daughters’ youth hockey teams. From in-season preparation to offseason development, we explore what helps players grow and succeed.
We also revisit legendary coach John Brophy. Jon played for him in Richmond, while Riles refereed his games when Brophy coached Hampton Roads in the ECHL. Their stories bring two perspectives to one unforgettable hockey personality.
